First complete CalCOFI cruise using CTD-Rosette on all stations was 9308NH (Aug 1993). The Seabird 911 CTD was first tested in Mar 1990 (9003JD) but still under development. Niskin, Nansen, & "Wally" (in-house design by Walt Bryant & George Anderson) bottles with reversing thermometers were the primary method of seawater sampling until 9308NH. As confidence in data quality, time-series continuity and relability improved, the CTD-rosette was used for daily primary productivity sample collection casts (6 depths) in 1992: 9202JD, 9208NH, & 9210NH.
Some older cruises may not have final data available since they are being reprocessed using the current data-processing methodology for data-format continuity. All raw cast data files are available but processed - either preliminary or final bottle-corrected - will be posted when completed.
