In the new version for raw file format the power calculations for complex data from EC150-3C has been modified. The complex
samples contained in Sample binary datagrams (RAW3 type) generated by EC150-3C transducers are now scaled by a scaling factor
of 13.3.
The purpose of introducing this scaling factor is to enable using the same equations for power calculations for both wideband
transceivers and EC150-3C. The power calculations are based on voltage sample values as for the wideband transceiver complex
data.
These new calculations of power replace completely the EC150-3C calculations used in previous versions of Power calculations from complex data recorded by EC150-3C. The calculations are described in the following section:
