CalCOFI Conference 2021 explores Social ecological indicators to support marine management in a changing climate

The virtual CalCOFI Conference 2021 brought together over 500 researchers and practitioners to explore the theme, Social ecological indicators to support marine management in a changing climate. The conference consisted of keynotes, panels, roundtables, and contributed talks related to ocean observing data in support of environmental, ecological, and social indicators, ocean management, and understanding the State of the California Current. Additionally, there was an ocean science and sustainability career panel following the conference on the first day and local, informal social gatherings following the conference.
