Welcome, Luke Irza, CalCOFI’s new Research Associate

We are excited to welcome Luke Irza to the CalCOFI team. Luke will serve as a nutrient and seagoing technician. He will carry out the collection of the core program samples and data, process nutrient data, QA/QC, all the things that make CalCOFI awesome!

Luke started his CalCOFI journey as a volunteer. His first cruise was on the Bell M. Shimada Spring Cruise 2022.
