Welcome Julia Coates: CalCOFI Committee

We are excited to welcome Julia Coates, Senior Environmental Scientist and Specialist at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), to the CalCOFI Leadership Committee. She will serve as one of the CDFW representatives on the CalCOFI Committee with Briana Brady.

We are also thankful to Travis Buck, an environmental scientist with the CDFW Marine Region’s Highly Migratory Species and Ecosystem Management Project, for his service on the CalCOFI committee. During his time on the Committee, he brought a range of insight to the CalCOFI program related to fisheries and climate change as well as outreach and education.
